So, why are you so distant?
Why? Why? Why?
People just go to church for the sake of going. Is there any meaning in it? No. Pastor Eric really spoke about what i have been thinking about in CIA today.
If we know that we are to listen attentively to sermons and not giggle amongst ourselves, why do we do it? Why?
Its ironic, isn't it? When you claim that you love God and yet you don't even fo the basics that is expected of you.
Karen said that she is dissapointed. Not only her. I think that I'm dissapointed in my own cell as well.
This has got to stop, right now.
And, sometimes when people share, maybe we should try and reflect on whether we are being good listeners and whether we are being sensitive to the situations and problems that our fellow friends are facing. I mean. personally, I have shared alot. And though I get teased about somethings, I don't voice it out.
Maybe its my character that I don't really reprimand people.
But, this has been on my heart for a fairly long period of time.
Fellow Phoseans,
why are we so distant from each other? I'm not sure if you sense it, but I think that we haven't really been acting as a cell.
I mean, take a look around. Almost everyone is open to each other in every other cell. And why is that?
That is because they respect each other for who they are and what they are and the problems and situations that they are facing. So, shouldn't we follow suit and do the same?
Okay, not even mentioning our 'cell' spirit.
Are we even close to God? Are we even near that?
Will there be one day during sermon when people don't giggle, don't talk, do exaggerated movements, think about other things, put their focus on other stuff, and worst still, use their handphones and try and find chances to go to the toilet?
Of course, I'm not saying that you shouldn't go to the toilet, cause if you really need to, then by all means, go.
But, seriously speaking. I'm not sure if you all know, but Phos has been 'hinted' quite a few times to keep quiet and all that stuff.
Why can't we just listen attentively?
James 1: 19-27
We have to do the basics before we can even think about doing the rest.
If we can't even sit and listen for less than 3 hours, I think that we should really do some self-reflection.
About why we are so distant from God when we come to church every Saturday and Sunday faithfully, but yet don't feel his presence throughout the week.

Hearing the word, and doing the word
We have to put God as our focus when we come to church.
Well, I think that almost everyone is guilty of what I have been talking about. Even me. Which is why I say that we all have to change.
Especially the girls.
I'm not blaming anyone here. But, just think about it. Are you a good tupos?
1. Do you stop yourself from being polluted by the world?
2. Are you quick to listen?
3. Are you slow to speak?
4. Are you slow to anger?
We've got to reframe our mindset.
We all have to. Cause if we don't, its going to KILL the whole Phos together.
