Hello! Well, its the holidays and I'm still waiting for streaming results to be out. Once I know my results, I'm going to start studying already. Which means that I only have about, less than one week left to rest D:
Okay, so as most of you would know that I'm a random person, as I was packing my room, I found one of my recent compositions that I wrote in school and I kinda like it. So, I shall post it on the blog. :D
DESCRIBE A SCENE OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW The scene outside my window used to be lively, vivid and colourful. Everyone putting braod smiles on his face. But now, everything seemed to come to a stand. No more laughter, jokes, liveliness or even colour in the scene outside my window.
I stared blankly at that old wooden bench whilst curling up in my armchair in my room. I could not find any kind of explanation for the sense of hopelssness that I felt. Everything had aged overnight. What was once colourful was now black and white. The smiles on the faces of people, turned into solemness. That old bench at the corner, had paint peeling off from it. Cobwebs could be found. Everything had changed!
The rustling of the leaves, the fragrance of the flowers and laughter from the people all seemed so distant after my grandfather left yesterday. That old bench held fond memories of our laughter and chatter. That tall oak tree behind it remained still and never failed to guard the secrets that grandfather and I shared.
Just yesterday evening, grandfather and I were at that old bench again. The wind was blowing into our faces, setting the trees around dancing and bowing as though it was some kind of performance tha was meant for grandfather and I. The air was fresh and clean and the sky filled with scurrying clouds.
As grandfather and I sat on the bench and looked out, it was as though we could see tiny crystals shining and sparkling. It was the light that was dazzling as it struck off the surface of the lake that was in front of us.
Looking at the glistening waters, grandfather shared his last secret with me. I was no secret actually, because his last words to me were, "I love you." With that, I never heard and will never hear my grandfather's dear voice again.
Curled up in my armchair, I stared at the quiet scene outside my window. Next to me were five big jars filled with oak. Each oak represented each secret that grandfather told me. Then, when I looked at the old oak tree, I realised that there was not a single oak left.
Everything outside my window held still. The tree, the flowers, the grass and everything else. It was as thought they were observing a minute of silence for my grandfather. However, that one minute of silence seemed like countless days and countless months. It seemed like eternity!
Grandfather is gone. There is nothing we can do to bring him back. I just wonder when the scene outside my window will turn back into laughter and fun, I hope it does soon because grandfather would not want to see our favourite place turn dull.
Although grandfather is gone, I know one thing for sure- his love. I love my grandfather and he loves me. That scene outside my window will always be etched in our hearts.
THE END!Haha, okay, pardon me for my randomness. (:
Heh, Bye!
