Men look at the outside, but God looks at the heart.
I'll remember that. Thank you. :D
Its quite amazing, how God timely arranges things to happen. I was thinking about it just yesterday afternoon. And then, God sent someone to tell me that yesterday night. How wow is that?
Today was Day 1 of Camporama. I'm tired. Real tired. But I guess we had fun too. I finally experienced what its like to, "catch a cold". Amazing ah? Next thing is to faint. Cool! You people will probably think I'm a sadist. No, I'm not. So, we reached the camp site. Went to say hello to the kids, teach them some cheers and went to our games stations to help.
I was terrified and petrified by kids who seemingly look like they are 15 and above. Yet, their mind resembles that of a 7 year old. Amazing! Yeah. I got uhm, 'watered' three times today. When we first reached the games stations, there were water guns. Here comes strike 1.
Anyi, Wei Yee, Kai and SamZ choped the water guns and left none for me. Wonderful people. Okay, so spray spray spray. I got rather wet. Strike 2 is next!
Again, Anyi, Wei Yee, Kai and SamZ again. This time with more water guns. And they surrounded me. I think they can be future police. So cool leh. They surrounded me until I couldn't run away. Just 4 of them. With guns. So police-like. Anyways, this time I got real wet. Anyi aimed the head, Wei Yee aimed the back, Kai aimed the front, SamZ was running after me with a pail of water. What a great youth leader.
And, last strike! They brought ICE. Okay, I didn't expect that. They filled the water guns with ice water. And JemYam came also. So, he put ice down my back. Haih. Kids will be kids. If only they would grow up. Haha, I'm speaking like a, 40 year old mother. HAH. But its quite fun being tormented by them.
Today was just tiring. From 2-6, Kai and I were picking bottles and arranging them back. And throwing balls back to the kids to let them have their next try. And it was non-stop. Kids are hyper. Totally. Every kid has, 45 chances. So, at least 100 kids came to play the bowling thing. 100 x 45 gives you.. Go count by yourself. Tsk.
Dinner today was super, how to call it? LAME. My dad was punctuating every sentence with LAME. Cause mommy was couting coins. (I gave her 10 dollars worth of coins. Such a fillial daughter) So my mom went like "If you can guess the amount, its yours!"
Blahblah, the conversation went on. And my brother, my dad and I were looking at my mom in disbelief. She was laughing like, hysterically for no ryhme or reason! Then my dad said..
"Eh you very
LAMME leh. Do you want a
LAAMMMEE (lamb chop)? Do you know we're sitting under a
LAMMMEE (lamp)?"
Okay, how weird is my dad. For that matter, my whole family. I'm going to miss them when they go for fishing this Friday.
Yes, so thats all for today's events.
Their one action, broke my heart. Hey, you mean you can't trust me? Tsk. It doesn't mean that cause he did it, means I would do it right?! God makes things happen for reasons. At the end of it, we'll all stand and testify that God has a plan for us. A very awesome one in fact.
BYE. :D
